Epping Forest District Council have introduced three new self‑guided walking trails across the district, located in Ongar, Loughton and Waltham Abbey. The trails are designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore our town centres, discover local heritage and enjoy the unique character of each area. Each trail takes around two hours to complete and features a mix of easy and more challenging clues, making them suitable for all ages.
Thanks to support from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), we are able to offer the first 500 downloads for each trail free of charge on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
