Allotments
Waltham Abbey Town Council is responsible for three allotment sites; Capershotts, Denny Avenue and Longfields.
Our three allotment sites provide welcoming and vibrant spaces across the community, where people of all ages and experience levels can grow their own fruit, vegetables, and flowers. Each site offers more than just a place to garden—it’s an opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and build lasting friendships with fellow plot holders. We are committed to maintaining safe, sustainable, and inclusive environments across all locations, encouraging wildlife, responsible cultivation, and the sharing of knowledge. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, our allotments offer rewarding spaces to relax, grow, and be part of a thriving community
Each allotment plot is rented on a yearly basis and renewed in September each year.
