Waltham Abbey Tourist Information Centre is an information point for the residents of Waltham Abbey and the visitors to Waltham Abbey

April to September inclusive
Monday to Sunday 10:00am – 4:00pm
October to March inclusive
Monday to Saturday 10:00am – 4.00pm
Closed for lunch from 1pm – 2pm.
What We Do
Local Information: We keep information on local attractions, up to date bus and rail timetables, a list of organisations, clubs and societies, eating out guide and local services. We act as a box office for local events at the Town Hall and we run monthly trips from June to December .
Accommodation: We provide a printed sheet of B&Bs in our local area.
What’s On: Our “What’s On” leaflet of events in and around the Waltham Abbey area is published every two months and is free of charge. It is not only useful to visitors and local residents, but also for local organisations to publicise their forthcoming events. These are also promoted on the Town Council’s website.
Theatre (West End) gift tokens: These tokens cards are available at any amount, just top your card up at any time.
We organise guided tours of the town in small or large groups tailored to your needs.
Guide Books & Souvenirs: We have a good selection of books ( Local History) & souvenirs for sale. We also offer locally produced greetings cards and postcards some of which are the work of local people. We have on display in the shop many pictures and videos of local events including King Harold Day, Calvacade of Light, Art Trail, Linking Hands, Holy Cross Day and many more.
