For Visitors and Local Residents…
Holiday Information: available on most towns and areas in England within a fifty mile radius especially on accommodation and places to visit.
Local Information: we keep information on local attractions, up to date bus and rail timetables, a list of organisations, clubs and societies, and act as a box office for local events.
Accommodation: we provide an accommodation booking service for visitors, and through the Book-a-Bed-Ahead (BABA) Scheme, in conjunction with other participating Tourist Information Centres, we can book accommodation two to three days in advance in most parts of the United Kingdom.
What’s On: our "What’s On" leaflet of events in and around the Waltham Abbey area is published every two months (free). It is not only useful to visitors and local residents, but also for local organisations to publicise their forthcoming events.
Theatre (West End) gift tokens: These tokens are available at rates of £5, £10 and £20.
Guide Books & Souvenirs: we have a good selection of books and maps for sale, particularly on local history, walks and attractions. We also offer locally produced greetings cards, local history DVDs, postcards & souvenirs, many of which have been exclusively produced for us.
Bookings: we make bookings for several local coach companies as well as our own organized day trips. Bookings are also taken for events within Waltham Abbey.
